RABVAX

RABVAX is an effort by the Central Alabama Veterinary Medical Asssociation to insure that all dogs and cats in Montgomery County are vaccinated for Rabies. Alabama State Law requires that all dogs and cats 3 months of age and older be vaccinated annually for rabies. This law is for the protection of humans from the deadly disease known as rabies. You can use this website to learn more about rabies, where and when you can get your dog or cat vaccinated for it, what the Alabama Law says about the vaccination of pets, and how the State and County enforce these laws.

2008 Rabies Vaccination Clinics

This year's Vaccine clinics will be held on August 2nd and August 9th, from 2pm to 4pm.

The clinics will be located at the following school grounds:

Head Elementary

Chisholm Elementary

Dunbar-Ramer

Pintlala

Carver High School

Forest Avenue

MaconEast Academy.

The cost of the rabies shot is $10.
